With Earthlab estimating that every gallon of jet fuel burned produces 23.88 pounds of CO2, the Olympic Torch Relay is adding about 11 million pounds of carbon to the atmosphere. That's 5,500 tons. WTF!!

Mt. Etna. Think of all the volcanoes, forrest fires, etc.. that we have to compete with. In order to reverse global warming, are we going to plug these volcanoes? They do far more than we can ever undo. I mourn at the foolishness of man-kind. It's like a global socialogical self-loathing disease. I will light a candle tonight to express my deep sympathy for the demise of civilization brought upon itself.
