Clinton attacks Obama for small-town voter remarks
"Pennsylvania doesn't need a president who looks down on them," she said.
But that's what all Democrat politicians do. We're too stupid to take care of ourselves and others, so we need them to do it for us.
Obama said, "You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," Obama, an Illinois senator, said.
"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
If true, then one could conclude that european towns with a similar plight might make America their scapegoat in much the same way small Penn town's "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment."
