ABC's treasonous behavior: exclusive report revealing a purported CIA covert operation designed to destabilize the government of Iran.
Don't tell me: "the peopels right to know." Right? Wrong. Even Pres. Bush would rather take false accusations and slander about our national security before releasing classified information. Even when it gets declassified and released, he still gets pummeled by the cry-babies that he's only doing it for political gain. You can't win for losing with the cry-babies.
ABC should be prosecuted to the hilt.

That makes the murder toll for these people who love life at about 50,000 annually.

Gore sees 'spiritual crisis' in warming... "Global warming is the heating of the Earth caused in large part [(3%)]by man-made emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. Most scientists agree such warming and the changing climate that comes with it will likely cause a number of problems and crises this century, particularly in developing countries that have few resources to combat the effects." Defeated Socialists search for scapegoats

By Martin Arnold in Paris

Published: May 6 2007 19:23 Last updated: May 6 2007 19:23

Let the finger-pointing begin. Ségolène Royal’s defeat on Sunday night left the French Socialist party in disarray and searching for someone to blame. There is hardly a shortage of scapegoats.

It is the party’s third consecutive presidential defeat. The Socialists now face the question of whether they can ever regain power without ditching their anti-capitalist rhetoric, as the mainstream left has done across almost all of Europe.

Ms Royal can argue that she did better than Lionel Jospin, who in 2002 led the Socialists to a humiliating third place behind Jacques Chirac and far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen. But France’s main opposition party still faces a wrenching crisis.

”The left is not credible on so many issues, from the 35-hour working week to immigration and law and order,” says Dominique Reynié, professor at Sciences Po university.

The Republican Debate

Stupid questions of the night:
(1)In a debate packed with silly questions and ones matching left-wing attack points on GOP candidates, in the first “Interactive Round” of questions submitted by the public on Politico.com, a co-sponsor of the debate, Mitt Romney got the most bizarre. The Politico Executive Editor Jim VandeHei, a Washington Post political reporter before jumping to The Politico earlier this year, found this one worth posing: “Daniel Dekovnick [sp phonetic] from Walnut Creek, California wants to know, 'What do you dislike most about America?'"

(2)The “Interactive Rounds” at the Republican presidential debate, from the Ronald Reagan Library in California and carried live on MSNBC, became an opportunity to raise hostile questions from a left-wing agenda or meant to embarrass the candidates (what's the difference between Shia and Sunni? How many have been killed or injured in Iraq? etc. Unbelievable!)

(3) Some of the other questions VandeHei chose to ask during the same round (about 25 minutes into the debate) in which he posed the whopper to Romney: To Rudy Giuliani, “Bradley Winter of New York would like to know if there's anything you learned, or regret, during your time as Mayor in your dealings with the African-American community?”;

(4) “Thousands of reputable scientists have concluded, with almost certainty, that human activity is responsible for the warming of the Earth. Do you believe global warming exists?”

(5) Tom Tancredo: “Will you work to protect women's rights, as in fair wages and reproductive choice?”

(6) Chris Matthews seriously proposed to all ten candidates: “Would it be good for America to have Bill Clinton back living in the White House?”

The moderator, Chris Matthews, seemed to think he was on "Hardball" and had to keep the pups, punks and rubes--that would be the candidates--in line. He cut them off--"Congressman, that's time!"--and occasionally hectored. One of the stars was the buzzing clock. It interrupted all thought.

When will republicans learn. This is why the Dem's wouldn't have a debate on Fox. Yet, they allow themselves to be dishonored with loaded left wing, learn nothing questions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that Stuart Smalley and Air-America have predictably failed, the Dem's are attempting to revive the "Fairness Doctrine" in order to silence conservative talk radio. Progressives seek to stifle free speech.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time, time, and more time. That’s what a senior Army officer in Iraq (speaking on background) pleaded for in a recent meeting with supporters of the war in Washington in the last week.
This proves that America can never again win a war. It will only excel in a defensive war. a war that is fought on our home turf. But to win, we have to take it on the offense, which means going to the country/countries we fight against. But we now know that the American public doesn't have the patience to stay there and win. So we lose. We will always play defense. That's what the Dem's are trying to tell us. Never win, only lose and react to attacks.

The not-visibly-insane Democrats all claim they'll get rough with the terrorists, but they can't even face Brit Hume.

In case you missed this profile in Democrat machismo, the Democratic presidential candidates all refused to participate in a debate hosted by Fox News Channel because the hosts are "biased" (interpret: they need softballs) But they'll face down Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?Right!!

Ex-CIA Officers Among Tenet Critics...

the only really interesting question is why the president did not fire this vain and useless person on the very first day of the war. Instead, he awarded him a Presidential Medal of Freedom! Tenet is now so self-pitying that he expects us to believe that he was "not at all sure that [he] really wanted to accept" this honor. But it seems that he allowed or persuaded himself to do so, given that the citation didn't mention Iraq. You could imagine that Tenet had never sat directly behind Colin Powell at the United Nations, beaming like an overfed cat, as the secretary of state went through his rather ill-starred presentation. And who cares whether his "slam dunk" vulgarity was misquoted or not? We have better evidence than that. Here is what Tenet told the relevant Senate committee in February 2002:

"Iraq … has also had contacts with al-Qaida. Their ties may be limited by divergent ideologies, but the two sides' mutual antipathy toward the United States and the Saudi royal family suggests that tactical cooperation between them is possible, even though Saddam is well aware that such activity would carry serious consequences."
