Eric Holder - Obama's pick for Attorney General
Besides being responsible for Pres. Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich, let's not forget perhaps his most outrageous decision- his refusal to allow the contents of Zacarious Moussaoui's laptop to be examined. Had the FBI been allowed even to look at what was on that laptop, they most likely would have been able to uncover the 9/11 plot in time to stop it. Mr. Holder is reported to have personnaly denied permission to examine the laptop. In spite of the suspicious behavior at the flight school that first focused the FBI's attention on Mr Moussaoui, Clinton's Justice Dept., and Mr. Holder in particular, insisted on treating the Moussaoui affair as just a law enforcement matter - an immigration law violation - rather than a potential terrorist threat. Talk about not allowing the dots to be connected!
But having only won by 5%, imagine how well McCain could have done had Obama kept his word and accepted public funding!
The very same congressmen that hinder the US auto industry with regulations tells businessmen how to run a business and spend the bailout money. What a joke!
