Like many slippery slopes in the past (mostly sexual), believers that time magically grants newer license to be immoral said, "That will never happen" when opponents to genetic manipulation objected to the use of newer technologies. Well, at least these scientists admit it's for the purpose of stem-cell research (as if that justifies it).
