Even though the technology of nuclear power has grown in leaps and bounds (more than 70% of French electrical needs are met by nuclear power), hippies are still trying to revive the glory days of the 70's totally protesting its use; instead, championing technology that's decades away and far less efficient and worse for the environment than nukes.
