My impression of Alan Keyes, when I spoke with him last year at a benefit dinner in Concord, was that he is very thoughtful and reasoning. Overall, I think he will make a very good senator from Illinois. God knows they need one!
What the article dosn't tell you is that he was the U.S.
Ambassador to the U.N. Economic and Social Council; and
Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations; and
President of Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW);
Founder of CAGW's National Taxpayer's Action Day Educator;
Interim President of Alabama A&M University; Personal
Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University; and
Married to Jocelyn, three children, ages 6, 9 and 12

If successful, he will get to contrast the likes of former Democrat senators as:
Carol Moseley-Braun, Dem.
Paul Simon, Dem., and
Adlai E. Stevenson III, DemPosted by Hello
