Millions of people from around the world are here inAmerica illegally. The issue of their status andwhether they can stay or not is not the focus of thispiece, the assumption is that one way or another theyare going to STAY here.

Recently, May of 2006, Mexicos President (VicenteFox) cam to America and was heralded by Mexicans wholive here, referred to as Mexicans Living Abroad.Unlike every other groups of people who has come toAmerica this group, more and more, is demonstratingnot that they want to be Americans but, rather, thatthey are loyal Mexicans living in America for purelyeconomic reasons.

When Fox was in the US, in Utah, his Mexicans LivingAbroad (10% of the Mexican population) greeted hisspeech with cries of Vive Mexico.

For Americans this was no doubt irritating, after allmany are here illegally, demanding rights (even theright to vote), and here they are swearing loyalty toa foreign power. The question is, however, what aboutthe church? What should the church be saying aboutthis?

The situation in Mexico is truly desperate, althoughthe economy is one of the best in Latin America. WhileMexico ranks number two in terms of Gross DomesticProduct on a per capita basis and number one overallfor the total size of their economy, the top 10% ofthe people have untold wealth while over 50% of thepeople are living subsistence lives.

The real problem in Mexico is not the economy itselfbut, rather, the total lack of economic justice. Thesituation would have boiled over into a civil war orsomething like that except that Mexico has an outletthat keeps the disaffected from turning on thegovernment: the truly angry and disaffected can LEAVEMexico and go to America.

This system works fabulously well for the wealthy,corrupt rulers. First, would b dissenters leave,second the immigrants send money home and the richMexicans get to keep over charging and under payingtheir families at home, and the rich Americancompanies are able to pay their workers next tonothing and still charge normal prices for the goodsand services produced.

If we examine the problem of illegal immigration thefirst losers are the common people of Mexico. Thepeople of Mexico have been led to believe that the USis both the problem and the solution regarding theireconomic status: because of the US they are poor andif they leave Mexico they will be rich. Meanwhile,those leaders who CREATED the horrible ills thatplague the people continue to demand and receive theloyalty of those people, as witnessed by Fox beinglauded by the very people his nations policies havedriven from them homes due to poverty into onlyslightly better living conditions and bondage up here.

The problem is not the people. The problem is thegovernment and the business leaders of Mexico: theyare the enemies of the People, not only of Mexico andAmerica but of the People of God who come from allnations.

The US government is not going to stop the flow, thereare too many rich Americans who would like to live offthe work of poor Mexicans like rich Mexicans do. The real fight is not against these illegals, it is ON THERE BEHALF.

Since this is where most Americans get their info, is it any wonder they are all misinformed? Imagine, if most people had the truth. YEs, there is truth and it should be sought after AND found. Without it, we will never have a moral compass with which to govern society.

Illegal Immigration

I don’t care what country someone hails from, what the color of their skin is, or how friendly a person is. If they break our laws to get in the country, they need to go.

Reasons against:

1. Increases on health care costs by: a. Emergency room walk-ins; b. importation of diseases once conquered in the U.S. but thriving in third world countries; c. unsanitary living conditions of over-crowded immigrant quarters.
2. Fallacy that they only do work that our citizens will not do. Although it has started out this way we see many traditional blue-collar jobs slipping into the realm of “too lowly for the citizen.” Jobs such as construction jobs that I and many other citizens would gladly have accepted when they were at decent wage levels, now are undercut by low wage workers. Landscapers, cooks, drywallers, carpenters, you name it. This trend will continue to work its way up the wage scale into jobs that have yet to be threatened. Contractors and other employers will see an opportunity to cut their salary expenses drastically and start hiring illegals if it becomes acceptable (many already have).
3. Once illegal immigrant workers become acceptable, lobbying will begin to take place in an attempt to improve immigrant working conditions and salaries; effectively eliminating the original premise with the end result of just increasing the countries population, decreasing its standard of living and overall health.
4. Illegal immigrants are known to use fake Social Security numbers in order to obtain credit to buy commodities of all sorts. Can we really expect them to keep a clean credit record if they can merely get a new number after trashing the old one? After all, they were willing to skirt our laws getting in the country, obtaining false ID’s and Social Security numbers, why should they care about the health of someone else’s SSN?
5. Illegal immigrants are often times (and commonly) paid “under the table.” This eliminates the tax revenue argument.
6. Many of their wages is sent out of the country to their country of origin thereby stimulating that countries economy; not ours.
7. Politicians from a party that shall remain un-named actively support their numbers as they view their presence as an opportunity to obtain their illegal vote. Let's call them "Un-documented Voters). Take the Motor-votor law for example. It’s harder for someone to rent a video at Blockbuster than it is to vote. Why? Because these illegal votes always go for those that promise them more handouts.
8. No country can sustain uncontrolled immigration without spiraling into an inflationary economy rife with stagnation (Northern Europe anyone?).
9. Jumping in front of law biding immigrant applicants is wrong.
10. Finally, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, open borders are a danger to our security. al qaeda or anyone else with an axe to grind can simply get in through the Mexican border with a dirty bomb (or worse) and move about freely to reek havoc on any metropolitan area within our borders.

Bad idea people!

We cannot afford the long term consequences of this foolish action simply to appease our feelings of sympathy for non-citizens no matter how nice they are or how good our present economy is at present.

I have kids and I wish them to inherit a decent, thriving country without fear of disaster of any kind. I love my kids first. We are a country of laws. This is as it should be. They should be for the sustaining of our countries well being and shouldn’t be watered down for the sake of those who are easily duped into feeling like they would be biased or racist or uncaring if they don’t just decimate our current system.

History, reason and human nature are all indicators of the aforementioned reasons. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the foolishness of allowing these things to occur-just a rational mind.

A survey by the Pew Research Center shows that conservatives are happier than liberals -- in all income groups. While 34 percent of all Americans call themselves "very happy,'' only 28 percent of liberal Democrats (and 31 percent of moderate or conservative Democrats) do, compared to 47 percent of conservative Republicans. This finding is niftily self-reinforcing: It depresses liberals.

Now, moving from public schools to private schools, what is the priority? Notice I am not saying Christian schools, but all private schools, including Christian schools. If you are really going to do something here, you have to think larger than your own interest. What we must do in the private schools, including the Christian schools, is to stand against those who have done so much to ruin our public schools in not allowing them to get a hold on the private schools, and specifically, the Christian schools, through a control of the curriculum. What we should be doing is struggling to see that the Christian school's curriculum is not controlled by those who have with their world view ruined the public schools.
This does not mean that the state does not have a legitimate interest in the safety of the pupils in such a thing as a firedoor. There are Christian schools that have said the state has no right even to tell them not to have a fire trap. That is not so. The state has a responsibility to say that a group of people meeting in a building like this we are meeting in have exit signs around the room, so that if there is a fire you will not all burn to death, and that is equally so for the kids in school. So the issue is not something like fire doors. The issue is that they must not begin to bring the same destructive teaching into the private schools by the back door of curriculum control that they have brought so dominantly into the public schools. We must not allow them to bring in through the back door a control of the curriculum and especially at the very point where the Bible's content is denied and contaminated. Therefore, the protection of the Christian school curriculum is another one of the priorities, which Christians ought to be consciously and intelligently standing for.
However, let me say another side of this question of the Christian school and our protection of it. While we are saying that the Christian school is not to allow its curriculum to be corrupted, we must also say that the private school, and specifically the Christian school, should give a good education.
We are to say we are going to control the curriculum. We are not going to let the state bring in the materialistic view as the final reality through the back door. But if we are going to say that with any validity the Christian schools must be giving a really good education. It should not just be a matter of not teaching what is wrong in a twisted education that rules out a Creator. Our Christian schools should not primarily be negative oriented. It is to be positive.
It is not just to be negative. It should be a superior education, if you are going to really protect the Christian school. It should certainly teach the students how to read and write and how to do mathematics better than most public schools enjoy today. It should do that but it should also appreciate and teach the full scope of human learning. Christian education is indeed knowing the Bible, of course it is, but Christian education should also deal with all human knowledge. We can think of what I said previously about the humanities. Christian education should deal with all human knowledge - presenting it in a framework of truth, rooted in the Creator's existence, and in his creation. Real Christian education, if we are going to protect our Christian schools, is not just the negative side, it is positive, touching on all human knowledge; and in each case, according to the level of the students, showing how it fits into the total framework of truth, the truth of all reality as rooted in the Creator's existence and in His creation. If the Judeo-Christian position is the truth of all reality, and-it is, then all the disciplines, and very much including a knowledge of, and I would repeat, an appreciation of, the humanities and the arts are a part of Christian education. Some Christians seem absolutely blind at this point.
If Christianity is not just one more religion, one more upper story kind of thing (as I speak of it in Escape From Reason and in my other books) then it has something to say about all the disciplines, and it certainly has something to say about the humanities and the arts and the appreciation of them. And I want to say quite firmly, if your Christian school does not do this, I do not believe it is giving a good education. It is giving a truncated education and it is not honoring to the Lord.
If truth is one, that is if truth has unity, then Christian education means understanding, and being excited by, the associations between the disciplines and showing how these associations are rooted in the Creator's existence. I do not know if you know what you are hearing or not. It is a flaming fire. It is gorgeous if you understand what we have in the teaching and revelation of God. If we are going to have really a Christian education, it means understanding truth is not a series of isolated subjects but there are associations, and the associations are rooted in nothing less than the existence of the Creator Himself.
True Christian education is not a negative thing; it is not a matter of isolating the student from the full scope of knowledge. Isolating the student from large sections of human knowledge is not the basis of a Christian education. Rather it is giving him or her the framework or total truth, rooted in the Creator's existence and in the Bible's teaching, so that in each step of the formal learning process the student will understand what is true and what is false and why it is true or false. It is not isolating students from human knowledge. It is teaching them in a framework of the total Biblical teaching, beginning with the tremendous central thing, that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It is teaching in this framework, so that on their own level, as they are introduced to all of human knowledge, they are not introduced in the midst of a vacuum, but they are taught each step along the way why what they are hearing is either true or false. That is true education. The student, then, is an educated person. I just say in passing, John Harvard understood that when he founded Harvard University. It was founded with this whole thing in mind. The student, then if he is taught this way, is an educated person, who will have the tools to keep learning and enjoy learning throughout all of life. Is life dull? How can it be dull? No, a true education, a Christian education, is more than the negative, though that is there. It is giving the tools in the opening the doors to all human knowledge, in the Christian framework so they will know what is truth and what is untruth, so they can keep learning as long as they live, and they can enjoy, they can really enjoy, the whole wrestling through field after field of knowledge. That is what an educated person is.
In short, Christian education should produce students more educated in the totality of knowledge, culture and life, than non-Christian education rooted in a false view of truth. The Christian education should end with a better educated boy and girl and man and woman, than the false could ever produce. Protecting the Christian school must carry with it more than the negative; it should produce a superior education in all areas of. knowledge, and notice I am saying all areas of human knowledge.

Now here’s a fascinating story from the blog European Tribune on the recent Muslim riots over the Muhammad cartoons. This scenario sounds entirely plausible to me. One salient fact they point out, which I do not recall being reported anywhere in our media, is that these cartoons were published on September 30, 2005. That’s right, over four months ago. Why is the outrage only now brewing?

When Is Opposition Treason?

Treason is the act of knowingly helping the enemies of
your country or betraying the trust of your country in
a manner that demonstrably weakens your nation
vis-à-vis its enemies.

The Democrats, or most of them, have been deliberately
lying about the president and this has indeed hurt the
US at home and abroad.

One lie is that Bush deliberately misled America about
Iraq, which has undermined the credibility of our
intelligence agencies and our government and has made
dealing with the situation in Iran more difficult. The
fact is that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction
and they disappeared (we have not located them). The
mere fact that WMD’s which can kill millions and yet
fit snugly in a few trucks have not been located is by
no means clear and conclusive evidence that they o not
exist. All the “evidence” that seems to support the
theory that the WMD’s never existed is taken seriously
while any evidence that indicates they were secreted
away is totally ignored.

This lie has been said so often that even those who do
not believe the lie are more cynical about their
president than they need be. So profuse has been the
lying by the Democrats that hardly anyone still even
talks about the WMD evidence that supports the initial
findings by the world’s intelligence agencies that
says Iraq had the WMD’s and that they were small
enough in size that they could easily have been hidden
or removed. We even have a former Iraqi Air Force
General who claims he was told by Iraqi pilots that
Saddam shipped out the WMD’s before we invaded. Iraq
also sent its air force into Iran during the first
gulf war, so the idea that Saddam would send the WMD’s
out as a last and final parting shot is credible.

I am not saying Iraq definitely had WMD’s, but the
idea that he never had them and still was willing to
see the US invade his country rather than give the UN
the access it needed to prove he never had them is
totally ridiculous.

Some have posited the theory that Saddam believed he
had the WMD’s but that he was being lied to by the
scientists. This is possible, but not probable in a
society that had layers upon layers of security
services, each spying on each other, and each desiring
to win Saddam’s approval by proving that the others
are less reliable. The idea that any group of people,
crossing many competing agencies, could come together
and conspire to keep the fact that they really didn’t

If the Democrats should win through their treason and
fraud our only reaction can be to dissolve the union
immediately and restart the union amongst those states
that are not controlled by America’s enemies, the

The Treason Times reported FISA virtually rubber-stamps warrant requests all the time. As proof, the Times added this irrelevant statistic: In 2004, "1,754 warrants were approved." No one thought to ask how many requests were rejected. Over and over we heard how the FISA court never turns down an application for a warrant. USA Today quoted liberal darling and author James Bamford saying: "The FISA court is as big a rubber stamp as you can possibly get within the federal judiciary." He "wondered why Bush sought the warrantless searches, since the FISA court rarely rejects search requests," said USA Today. Put aside the question of why it's so vitally important to get a warrant from a rubber-stamp court if it's nothing but an empty formality anyway. After all the ballyhoo about how it was duck soup to get a warrant from FISA, I thought it was pretty big news when it later turned out that the FISA court had been denying warrant requests from the Bush administration like never before. According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the FISA court "modified more wiretap requests from the Bush administration than from the four previous presidential administrations combined." In the 20 years preceding the attack of 9/11, the FISA court did not modify — much less reject — one single warrant request. But starting in 2001, the judges "modified 179 of the 5,645 requests for court-ordered surveillance by the Bush administration." In the years 2003 and 2004, the court issued 173 "substantive modifications" to warrant requests and rejected or "deferred" six warrant requests outright. What would a Democrat president have done at that point? Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack. Also, perhaps as a gesture of inclusion and tolerance, hold an Oval Office reception for the suspected al-Qaida operatives. This – happily, from the NYT’s point of view – coincided with the weekend the Senate was to debate the Patriot Act, resulting in a Democratic filibuster. The majority of mainstream media tilts to the left... that according to a revised study by UCLA, set for publication next week. Among the findings: The Wall Street Journal, despite its conservative opinion pages, is the most liberal outlet, followed by CBS' Evening News, The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times.
In fact, of the 20 major media outlets studied, 18 of them scored left-of-center. Programs ranked among the most centrist news shows include The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and ABC's Good Morning America. Fox found the most centrist.
The study examines U.S. media coverage over the last 10 years, comparing individual news outlets with individual lawmakers. Lawmakers were scored on the basis of votes and speeches, while media organizations were scored on their references to think tanks and policy groups.
Hurricane Hit All
Nearly as many wealthy people died in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, as did poor people, according to an analysis by the Los Angeles Times. While many of the bodies remain unidentified, findings show that of the 528 bodies recovered from identifiable addresses throughout the city, 230 came from middle and upper class neighborhoods the city's poorer areas accounted for 298 bodies. The analysis discounts claims that low-income residents were hit hardest by the hurricane.
Research conducted by Tulane University geographer Richard Campanella, who is quoted by the Times, suggests that New Orleans' predominantly white districts were just as vulnerable as predominantly black districts. A spokesman for the Louisiana Population Data Center associates Katrina's widespread effects with the city's diversity.


A global survey released today from Freedom House shows that the Arab Middle East saw a modest but significant increase in political rights and civil liberties this year. The survey — dubbed Freedom in the World — shows the number of countries rated as “Not Free” dropping from 49 to 45, the lowest number in over a decade.
And freedom grew worldwide with 27 countries showing gains and only 9 countries experiencing setbacks. U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R.-Ariz.) said Thursday that Mexican President Vicente Fox should “shut up” about his opposition to a proposed U.S.-Mexico border fence.

Fox on Wednesday called the idea of a fence “disgraceful and shameful.”

“I’m going to step away from diplomatic rules and offer President Fox some straight talk: President Fox should shut up,” Hayworth told HUMAN EVENTS. “He should shut up about all of this because he is only fanning the flames of poor relations between our two nations. He needs to cease and desist.”

Hayworth continued: “What’s disgraceful is President Fox presuming to lecture the United States on how best to protect itself against an invasion -- an invasion that has his wholehearted advocacy. . . . He needs to stop his advocacy of an invasion of his countrymen into our nation. What’s shameful is that, as the president of the Republic of Mexico, he does nothing to stem this invasion. He actively endorses it.”

According to an ABC News/Time magazine survey of 1,700 Iraqi citizens, released in advance of historic parliamentary elections on Thursday, “surprising levels of optimism prevail in Iraq,” according to ABC’s polling director, Gary Langer. “Despite the daily violence there, most living conditions are rated positively, seven in 10 Iraqis say their own lives are going well, and nearly two-thirds expect things to improve in the year ahead.”

Of course, those optimistic Iraqis don’t watch ABC, CBS and NBC every night. A new Media Research Center study of network evening news coverage of Iraq during October and November found the networks maintained the same negative approach our team found during a review of Iraq news during the first nine months of 2005. In spite of a successful constitutional referendum in October, the start Saddam’s trial for mass murder, successful U.S. offensive campaigns along the Syrian border and the return of a number of cities and town to full Iraqi control, the networks continued to offer mainly downbeat coverage of the situation in Iraq.
If they do this to Iraq, imagine the influence their negative reporting has on US citizens concerning domestic issues.

Simple Question on Iraq Dumbfounds Democrats
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) claimed this week she had not heard the stated position of Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D.-Md.) that it would be a disaster for U.S. troops to withdraw from Iraq—a position that sharply contrasts with her own call for U.S. troops to be removed within six months.

In a written statement released November 30 following President Bush’s speech on the Iraq War at the U.S. Naval Academy, Hoyer said: “I believe a precipitous withdrawal of American forces in Iraq could lead to disaster, spawning a civil war, fostering a haven for terrorists and damaging our nation’s security and credibility. I still believe we can—and that we must—achieve success in Iraq.”

The stark difference between Hoyer’s position and Pelosi’s has been noted in a front-page story in her hometown newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, as well as in the Washington Times, the Washington Post, on CNN and on ABC.

But when I asked Pelosi directly to comment on Hoyer’s remarks, she claimed to be ignorant of them, and retreated behind the Democrats’ latest catchword on Iraq: “redeployment.”
