Planned Parenthood animated short glorifies violence against Christians
Washington, DC -- "With its latest marketing gimmick, an animated feature called 'Superhero for Choice,' Planned Parenthood is glamorizing violence against people of faith," said Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League's STOPP International.
"Planned Parenthood's outrageous video shows the organization's 'superhero' drowning an abstinence educator in a trash can and killing peaceful Christian pro-life activists by blowing them up outside of a Planned Parenthood facility. Just when you think it's over, a pro-life protestor is mercilessly decapitated during the closing credits. The hatred and religious bigotry demonstrated by Planned Parenthood in this video are shocking and offensive."The eight-minute animated feature is posted on Planned Parenthood Golden Gate's web site: www.ppgg.org (CLICK HERE to watch - Quicktime Video)

Today, a good friend of ours lost her drivers liscence simply for passing out in labor at the hospital delivery room. And Michelle, in order to renew her CDL, was forced to change the name on her S.S. card to reflect her married name by providing a marriage liscence as proof. Ironically, the same CDL app provoded a space for illegal aliens, without ID, to obtain one.

The draft of Iraq's new constitution specifically excludes Israelis from obtaining citizenship.

The document [pdf file], updated July 20, says:

"Any individual with another nationality (except for Israel) may obtain Iraqi nationality after a period of residency inside the borders of Iraq of not less than ten years for an Arab or twenty years for any other nationality, as long as he has good character and behavior, and has no criminal judgment against him from the Iraqi authorities during the time of his residency on the territory of the Iraqi republic.

Valerie Plame vs. Juanita Broaddrick?

Which topic should provoke more media interest?

A report that White House adviser Karl Rove told Time magazine reporter Matthew Cooper that the wife of showboating Iraq war critic Joseph Wilson worked for the CIA - a revelation, by the way, that did nothing to damage her career as a desk-bound analyst, let alone endanger her life.

Story Continues Below

Or a woman who NBC spent a year trying to convince to detail her allegation that she was raped by the president of the United States.

If you're a member of the White House press corps, clearly the first story is a matter of supreme importance. The presidential rape allegation, on the other hand, is a real yawner.

At yesterday's White House press briefing, reporters peppered Press Secretary Scott McClellan with 48 questions on the Wilson-Plame case - focusing on whether Bush would now fire Rove.

The questioning turned so aggressively hostile that when McClellan asked a reporter to allow him to finish his answer, the reporter shot back: "No, you're not finishing. You're not saying anything."

When President Clinton faced the press on March 19, 1999, however, it was a different story. Only ABC newsman Sam Donaldson dared ask the question that was on everybody's mind.

"Mr. President, when Juanita Broaddrick leveled her charges against you of rape in a nationally televised interview, your attorney David Kendall issued a statement denying them. But shouldn't you speak directly on this matter and reassure the public? And if they are not true, can you tell us what your relationship with Ms. Broaddrick was, if any?"

Clinton's response:

"Well, five weeks ago today - five weeks ago today, I stood in the Rose Garden after the Senate voted [not to remove me from office] and I told you that I thought I owed it to the American people to give them 100 percent of my time and to focus on their business, and that I would leave to others to decide whether they would follow that lead.

"And that is why I have decided as soon as that vote was over that I would allow all future questions to be answered by my attorneys, and I think I made the right decision. I hope you can understand it. I think the American people do understand it and support it.

"And I think it was the right decision."

Donaldson followed up, asking Clinton, "Why not simply deny it, sir?"

The president instead invoked lawyer David Kendall's denial, explaining: "There's been a statement made by my attorney. He speaks for me, and I think he spoke quite clearly."

And with that, the entire Washington press corps simply dropped the subject, never raising Broaddrick's claim with either Clinton or his then-Senate candidate wife again.

Sen. Durbin's office is trying to silence Move America Forward, the group says, by hinting to an Illinois newspaper (the Northwest Herald of Crystal Lake) that the Internal Revenue Service should audit Move America Forward.

Several former members of Congress say that Washington's political climate has become so hostile and poisonous over the past decade that it is undermining the government's ability to deal with major problems facing the country.

And why is it hostile? Because the Dem's have lost party and they are throwing a tantrum. Bush even tried bi-partisanism early on but was betrayed quickly.

If there ever was a time to let Bush stack the Supreme Court (eminent domain) it's NOW! The scariest thing about this story is that most people have no idea what it implies. Private land ownership is the cornerstone of any free society, and it has just been taken away from ours. Yet around the water cooler, locker rooms and restaurants of America, you hear nothing. The rug has been pulled out from underneath everyone without anyone really noticing. We are all too wrapped up in the microcosms of our own lives to care about anything until it actually happens to us.
Unbelievable. I suddenly remember why I am a gun owner.

Fellow Americans,
It's appalling to observe the conduct of some of America's politicians during these important times for our nation.
Certain politicians are so interested in promoting their own political self-interest that they are willing to bring this nation down in the process.
Take Democrat Senators Dick Durbin and Pat Leahy. Senator Durbin (D-IL) accused American servicemen and women of engaging in conduct akin to the "Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime -- Pol Pot or others."
Senator Leahy (D-VT) has taken to the TV and radio airwaves, attacking U.S. troops for the deaths of "tens of thousands of Iraqi lives that have been lost since the fall of Hussein."
What makes their conduct so deplorable is that they know they are spreading lies.
The U.S. treatment of enemy combatants is unmatched and those who have objectively reported on the conduct of U.S. Troops have reported this
. You can also read more about it RIGHT HERE.
This is part of a deliberate effort - between leftist politicians and liberal journalists to undermine America's support for our troops and the war against terrorism.
We can't sit back and allow this to happen
. We're going to fight back on the airwaves - but we need the help of every American who supports our troops.
Those of us who stand behind our troops and what they are doing have it as our duty to stand up and speak for them - to advocate on behalf of the missions they serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Our troops are NOT torturers. Our troops are not akin to the Nazi S.S. troops that orchestrated the horrific atrocities against the Jewish people. Anyone who says that are troops are acting improperly - while making the charges without corroboration or evidence - must recognize that this hurts our troops. Anyone who says we should close down the U.S. Detention Facility at Guantanamo Bay is only serving to advance the interests of those who wish America harm.
We must stand up and fight back - enough is enough of the liberal media attacking our troops and only reporting on every piece of bad news they can find.
Enough of the far-left politicians using the bully pulpit of Congress to launch their tirades condemning the U.S. military.
Those of us in the silent majority need to get off of our behinds and challenge these people in the court of public opinion.
Our production crew is right now hard at work preparing a new television ad that stands up for our troops and takes on those politicians who seek to defame them.
We want this ad shown night and day throughout the country.
The "Blame America First" crowd folks like Senator Durbin and Senator Leahy and the editorial page of the New York Times are challenging the integrity and decency of our soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen. Well - not any more - not at least without us fighting back!

Rush Limbaugh: Media Driving Backlash Against Hillary Book

Predictions that Ed Klein's new book, "The Truth About Hillary," will backfire and actually increase Sen. Clinton's popularity are coming from reporters who are trying to quash interest in Klein's revelations, top media conservative Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday.

Story Continues Below

"I think this backlash is being created by the press," Limbaugh told his radio audience, adding, "Do you not find it curious that the press is not curious about [Klein's] allegations?"

"If it causes a backlash, it's because of what the press is going to say about who's pushing this book," he predicted, "not because of anybody who's read the book and what they're saying about it."

Limbaugh called press reaction to Klein's "Truth" "a classic illustration of how the media is circling the wagons to protect Mrs. Clinton."

"There may well be a backlash," he said, but noted, "I think the press is trying to create that very backlash before it even happens."

"I think there's a mythical backlash going on right now," Limbaugh charged, noting, "You haven't heard any outrage from the American people" because the book was just released today.

Limbaugh said that if a genuine backlash against the Klein book does emerge, "It's one that's being set up by the press."

"It's very rare that you see the media circle the wagons to defend a politician," he noted. "You just don't see it, other than with the Clintons."

GOP Congressman Calls Democrats Anti-Christian

Remarks in Floor Debate Stir Protest

Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, June 21, 2005; Page A04

Business on the floor of the House was halted for 45 minutes yesterday after Rep. John N. Hostettler (R-Ind.) accused Democrats of "denigrating and demonizing Christians," prompting a furious protest from across the aisle.

The House was debating a Democratic amendment to the annual defense appropriations bill that would have required the Air Force Academy to develop a plan for preventing "coercive and abusive religious proselytizing."

Hostettler, speaking against the amendment, asserted that "the long war on Christianity in America continues today on the floor of the House of Representatives" and "continues unabated with aid and comfort to those who would eradicate any vestige of our Christian heritage being supplied by the usual suspects, the Democrats."

Spectacular Mars View This Summer
Spectacular Mars View The Red Planet is about to be spectacular! This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again. The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the east at 10p.m. and reach its azimuth at about 3 a.m. By the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30a.m . That's pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in recorded history. So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month. Share this with your children and grandchildren. NO HUMAN BEING HAS EVER SEEN THIS - - AND NO ONE ALIVE TODAY WILL EVER SEE THIS AGAIN. Submitted by John P.

I’ve just watched a DVD called Veil of Deception by Mission: America It covers the topic of same sex marriage, its impact on children, their schools, and the judicial activism that threatens to make it the law of the land contrary to the popular vote.

It had one fairly graphic moment so I wouldn’t recommend that it be viewed by anyone under the age of 14. Parents may want to be present with their high school students for the purpose of explanation.

If you are one who keeps up with the news (a.k.a. Fox News and other conservative outlets), this subject matter will be of no surprise to you. As for mainstream media viewers, this expose may open some eyes.

The Veil of Deception focuses on the shocking push that the gay agenda is making on our countries youth. It shows how this is being done without parental consent. Where there are a few parents who may want their children taught that homosexual marriage and lifestyles are a normal, acceptable choice, the majority don’t. Votes within individual states show as much. However, these votes are being over-turned in the courts. Particularly poignant was a clip showing a gay author talking to a junior high school “gay club.” Did you know that gay clubs existed in some junior high schools? Neither did I.

The question “What can be done?” remains. Already, Massachusetts schools are forming a “zero tolerance” stance on speech that disagrees with the gay agenda. If this agenda continues to proliferate, the answer is very little. If even the popular vote is overturned by liberal judges the majority has no power or voice.

To those who are new to this under-the-surface agenda, this information will be an outrage. To those who are already aware of what’s been going on, this DVD will be a valuable tool to share with friends and family who don’t. The more people who know, the more pressure can be brought to bear on our politicians and their choice of judges.

All in all, I think this DVD is an informative, well documented tool for many who believe in traditional values. However, the copy I had did not play all the way through a less expensive DVD player I tried. It did play perfectly on a more expensive one that I own.

Leaving the left
I can no longer abide the simpering voices of self-styled progressives -- people who once championed solidarity

A Rush Interview:

RUSH: Yeah, exactly. How long has this piece of yours been in the works? It sounds like it didn't happen overnight.
THOMPSON: No, it did not happen overnight. And, you know, I've got -- by the way, you'll be interested to hear that I've gotten lots of response. But you know something? I have gotten a significant number of e-mails, over 200 from people in the Bay Area who describe themselves as progressives, as liberals, and even on the left, who said, "You have spoken for me. You've put words to something. Look, I still don't agree with Bush on the following issues, but I cannot abide this any longer myself," and I only gotten a handful of really negative stuff from what I call "the psychiatric wing of the party," the really crazy types. But I tell you, I don't mean to say that I'm a pied piper, I just had my ear to the ground and I'm looking to my own heart and I've been feeling this for some time. One person wrote me and said, "Gee, you know, you felt that about Ronald Reagan back in the eighties about the Soviet Union. How come it took you this long?" and I thought about it. I wrote him back and I said, "Have you ever had one of those experiences where, you know, when you take the garbage out on a Thursday morning -- they're going to pick up the garbage on a Thursday morning -- you set the garbage in a plastic bag on the inside of the door Wednesday night intending to take it out? Well, I forgot to take it out for about ten years," which is to say these thoughts had been ruminating and marinating, and truly it was a pivotal point for me. It all came together when I saw after the Iraq elections the people on Fox News and CNN, on your show and all the other, and mainstream -- you know, NBC, CBS, all of them. The people cheering for the Iraqis were conservative.

RUSH: Yeah.
THOMPSON: The people who were looking for -- spinning marvelous variety of excuses about why democracy is still likely, could very well fail, Nancy Pelosi, Lynn Woolsey, my congresswoman here in California, Ted Kennedy, so-called legitimate mainstream liberals putting forth remarkably well thought out scenarios about how it could fail, and I said, "What is going on?"

RUSH: How they wanted it to fail, Keith.

THOMPSON: Oh, wanted it to fail, absolutely correct.

RUSH: They wanted it to fail.

THOMPSON: They needed it because they need -- the line I felt strongest about was, "They wanted democracy to fail more than they loved freedom," or they wanted George Bush to fail. There's a mania. I mean, you know it well. You deal with it every day. There has not been this mania in the country against a president since Nixon, and I gotta tell you, that includes Bill Clinton. I supported Bill Clinton. He was kind of the last straw for me -- and I know he took a lot of hard-core stuff from the right, but I'll tell you, nothing like Nixon and Bush have received from the left.

RUSH: I got one minute here before I have to take a break. Where do you think the left is headed?

THOMPSON: I think it's a historical defunct dead end. I think, you know [a] scientist said, science precedes "funeral by funeral," and that's a way of saying when people who can't change don't change they die off. It sounds Machiavellian, but I think there's a new generation of young people, they read books like South Park Conservatives. They're not buying it anymore.

RUSH: Well, we'll see. It's clearly a point of view that you've written about that has not yet reached the leadership of the Democratic Party.

THOMPSON: No, I don't mean to say that. They're going to hold on, and there are some good people that call themselves liberals. When I call myself a liberal I mean it in the sense of liberal democracy. If you read Bobby Kennedy's speech in 1966 in South Africa, it reads like something you'd give or Bill Bennett would give.

RUSH: Well, the same thing with Hubert Humphrey talking about "family values" back in the sixties, and that's the thing that amazed me, and it's what your piece is really all about and that is the liberals of today-- Well, let's put it this way: JFK, were he to be alive today thinking as he thought when he was alive, would not have a home in the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. Keith, I gotta run but it's great to hear from you. A great piece, and thanks for the call.

Bill Clinton: Iraq Changes Good for Region

ACU Files Ethics Complaint Against Harry Reid

Advocacy Group Says Minority Leader Guilty of Gross Violation:
Leahy and Levin Also Named

ALEXANDRIA, VA - The American Conservative Union, the nations oldest and largest conservative grassroots organization, yesterday filed an ethics complaint against Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). The complaint comes in response to Sen. Reid's May 12th reference to judicial nominee Henry Saad's confidential FBI file on the floor of the United States Senate.

"Henry Saad would have been filibustered anyway…," said Reid on the floor of the Senate. "All you need to do is have a member go upstairs and look at his confidential report from the FBI, and I think we would all agree that there is a problem there."

The Real Reason the Dem's are so Afraid of Republican Judicial appointees!
Abortion and Religious beliefs. It's all about baby killing and Christaphobia.

Only 53% of Appelate Court Judges have been confirmed (far below the 85-95% average prior to George Bush's administration), leaving vacancies for almost 6 years. Senate rules have changed many times throughout our American history and NEVER has the fillibuster been used in this many with such obstructionist motives towards judicial nominations. Democrats invented the filibuster of judicial nominees in 2003, when the previous congress was in session, in order to defeat many of President Bush’s conservative nominees to the federal circuit courts. The filibuster strategy developed out of the Democrats' concern for the fact that Republicans commanded a majority in the Senate and were in a position to approve all the president's appellate-level judicial nominees. As a result of the new filibuster tactic employed by the Democrats, President Bush has had the lowest confirmation rate for such appointments in the history of the U. S. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that Judicial appointees may be denied a up or down vote. It does say the majority vote wins and not that the minority that gets to make the rules and decisions.

Ladies and Gentlemen, witness the implosion of the liberal Democratic party.

What Revoltin' Bolten Is All About:
Don't Listen to the Left: It's Not About Bolton

by David Limbaugh
Posted May 19, 2005

Sen. Joe Biden, in his laborious monologue to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee concerning the appointment of John Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations last weekl, denied he and other Democrats were on a witchhunt against Bolton. Granted. The fight isn't about Bolton but President Bush. Their primary purpose is not to smear Bolton, though that's a sacrifice they're willing to make; it's to thwart the president's foreign policy, with which they radically disagree. It's to prevent him from exercising his constitutional authority to appoint qualified and respectable individuals to represent him in various departments of government.

Would someone please tell the Democrats they lost the 2004 elections and they'll have another shot in 2006 and again in 2008? I'm doubtful Republican officeholders are going to tell them, much less show them.

Bolton Accuser - Anti Bush Activist Who Committed Plagiarism

The news media and Democrats on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have been despicable in their anti-John Bolton smear campaign.

What they've not reported to you is that the highly touted Bolton critic, Melody Townsel - who accused Bolton of 'acting like a madman' and chasing her through the halls of a Russian hotel - was an anti-Bush activist (she founded the Dallas Chapter of "Mothers Opposing Bush") who has been discredited by her superiors and forced to come forward to admit that she committed plagiarism when serving as a journalist.
