Putin obviously dislikes Israel and will do whatever he can get away with to assist there enemies.
How much force would he or France use had they had missiles lobbed at them and their soldiers abducted and killed? "Reasonable and measured?" No, they would respond much more harshly. But Israel is just not allowed to do anything right?
