'All of humanity under threat'..Mexico closes federal government; urges businesses shut...
When you're in a hole, the first order of business is stop digging. They talk "freedom of choice," but liberals are too contemptuous of dissenting people to allow them to choose freely how to live their lives without ridicule and disdain.

President Obama showed his hand this week when The New York Times wrote that he is considering converting the stock the government owns in our country's banks from preferred stock, which it now holds, to common stock.
This seemingly insignificant change is momentous. It means that the federal government will control all of the major banks and financial institutions in the nation. It means socialism.
The Times dutifully dressed up the Obama plan as a way to avoid asking Congress for more money for failing banks. But the implications of the proposal are obvious to anyone who cares to look....(more)

Truth, Withhunt, Witchhunt
Witch Hunt of the Week:
"What's happened is anti-Americanism isn't cool anymore," Mr. Axelrod said
So the lib's admit that the sentiment was more emotion based and less facrt based; prone to personal whimsey rather than and foundation in sound rationale. How convenient! So the new administaration can just claim to be "cool" and it is so, all is well!

Barack Obama arrives in Mexico for a brief visit today, and my quick perusal of the local press turns up an op-ed he wrote for Mexico City’s El Universal (translation my own):
Too often, the United States has not sought or maintained relations with its neighbors. We’ve allowed ourselves to be distracted by other priorities, without realizing that our progress is directly linked to progress in the whole American continent. My government is committed to the promise of a new day. We will renew and maintain more extensive relationships between United States and the hemisphere, for the sake of our common prosperity and our common security.
Of course, the Mexican government would prefer that Obama practice what he preacheswhen it comes to being a good neighbor. And while our prosperity may be linked to a degree, Mexico is not poorer than the United States because of any policies of this country. Mr. Obama would help Mexico by calling them to speed the move toward transparency, respect for private property, and rule of law. Those changes will do more to move Mexicans out of poverty than any number of U.S. apologies. (more)
MSNBC, CNN Use Tea Parties as Platform for Sex Jokes...
Congresswoman calls tea parties 'despicable' and 'shameful'...
By now you've probably heard of the shameful actions by Susan Roesgen, the CNN reporter who harrassed attendees at yesterday's Chicago Tea Party. Instead of reporting on the Tea Party, Roesgen picked people out of the crowd to confront and argue with, before signing off her report by labeling the tea party movement as "anti-CNN" and "not family viewing."
Susan Roesgen's email was but CNN shut that down. I suggest now sending your emails first to CNN Executive Vice President Ken Jautz at: ken.jautz@cnn.com
Additionally, please let Susan's boss know how unacceptable it is for a journalist to become a left-wing activist in trying to defame and denounce a legitimate and honest political movement by Americans who are being robbed blind by our government and spent into a debt from which will be unimaginably difficult to ever pay off.
So please also write to Philip Kent, the Chairman & CEO of CNN: phil.kent@turner.com
Please note at an anti-Bush rally following Hurricane Katrina, Roesgen gleefully reported that a costumed protestor mocking Bush as Hitler was a "Bush look alike" and yet yesterday sought to engage in a verbal sparring match with a protestor who declared Obama's recent actions have been fascist -- in ways similar to Hitler.
You don't have to agree with that protestor's view to see that Susan Roesgen's bias is so blatant it makes a mockery of CNN's motto: "The Most Trusted Name in News."

Includes returning veterans!
These so called "threat assessments" have always been here; in large numbers. These are average people that the Fed is trying to paint as some new and increasingly dangerous extreme fringe. These people were centrists 30 years ago. Obama moves in and he wants to eliminate his opposition totally. "Reactionists" beware your views are being vindicated rapidly.
At Sacramento's Tea Party today, Air Force reservist Sgt. Kevin Steele who returned from his second tour in Iraq two weeks ago said, "I think this is just wonderful to see," he said. "I'm disappointed to see how much things have deteriorated since I left."
Asked for his thoughts on the Department of Homeland Security report warning against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" and specifically singling out returning war veterans as particular threats, Steele said he was baffled and felt a deep sense of betrayal.
"I couldn't believe it," he said. "I'm the guy they're watching now? Give me a break!"
He continued, "You can send me over there and put a weapon in my hands, and now you worry about me? It's disappointing and disheartening."
Thousands of Anti-Tax 'Tea Party' Protesters Turn Out in U.S. Cities
In Sac, CA: "In the 27 years since I came to this building, I have never seen a protest this large," McClintock said. "The silent majority is no longer silent."California Highway Patrol officers, sheriffs and horse-mounted city police surrounded the event on all sides. There were no noticeable arrests or acts of violence at the tea party.

First Step to One Party System:
A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority. "It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," the warning says.
It's a shocking document, folks. The report warns of "rightwing extremism" andWashington Times reveals that the report defines such extremism as, "groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority" and "groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."
Barack Obama's administration is basically telling law enforcement that the potential enemy to this country and law-and-order are individuals who are pro-life, want the U.S. border secured, and believe in state's rights. And it gets even worse: the DHS report says military men and women returning from Iraqand Afghanistan should be perceived to be a potential threat. How dare Obama and his administration attempt to tarnish the noble, honorable and selfless service of our brave troops!
It's all part of Obama's efforts to silence and marginalize conservatives so he can push his radical far-Left agenda through, unfettered.

FBI says Supreme Court Website Hacked!!!!
Atty. Orly Taitz is one of several lawyers who have brought emergency motions to the U.S. Supreme Court over eligibility of Barack Obama to be president under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that the office be occupied only by a "natural born" citizen, only to have them dropped without a hearing.
While her effort was pending at the court, its references suddenly were scrubbed from the public website just two days before a conference among justices on the case was to be heard.
She filed a complaint with the FBI, which promised a review, but the investigative agency noted that in that situation, technically the Supreme Court was the "victim" of having its website hacked, and officials there would need to cooperate for the effort to move forward.

Scary! Obama nominee wants one world order
Judges should interpret the Constitution according to other nations' legal "norms." Sharia law could apply to disputes in US courts. The United States constitutes an "axis of disobedience" along with North Korea and Saddam-era Iraq.
